A slow line and a board that waits

This site is arranged for a situation that rarely gets served well: you have five minutes and your connection is not fast. Every game here passes the same checks, which are that the first control responds within seconds, the board can be abandoned without punishment, and no account is requested. You do not have to wait for the page to finish loading before you start thinking, and you do not have to finish a round before you close the tab.

Games that demand an opening video, a custom font or two intro screens do not enter this list, however attractive they look.

Questions that keep coming up

Do I need an account to play?

No. Every game opens straight in the browser with no name, email or password. Progress is stored on your own device, and no profile is created on our servers.

Does my board disappear when I close the tab?

No, as long as you play in a normal window on the same device. Games here save progress in the browser. Only private mode and site data cleaning erase it, and both are worth avoiding.

How long does one round usually take?

It depends on the stop you choose. Loads At Once and Cards & Lives suit three to eight minutes. Boards To Think On and One Session need eight to forty minutes, and each section description states that expectation openly.

Can I play on a phone with a slow line?

Yes, with two precautions: extend the screen timeout so the browser does not freeze the tab, and turn battery saver off while playing. After that a phone is the most comfortable place for one short round in the middle of the day.

Is all of this free?

Yes. We sell nothing and accept no in-game payments. Games that force a purchase to continue progress are removed from the list, and games that hide important buttons behind layered menus are not accepted.
