The playtest note

Little Bugs is reviewed here the way we review everything: opened cold, timed to first play, and filed under front-row. What follows is what the playtest actually felt like.

you are the guardian of a group of lost beetles. At each stage, the beetles approach two pictures. One is a safe path forward, but the other is a trapdoor into the abyss. Your mission is to decipher the hint—a piece of a vegetable or an animal—to figure out which path is safe.

How to play: - Observe the hint provided in the level (a vegetable or animal). - Analyze the connection between the hint and the two pictures. - Tap or click on the picture you believe represents the safe path. - Once selected, the beetles will automatically proceed down your chosen route.

The Chart ranks the twenty entries readers cheer the most — tap the glass on any entry to add yours. The score lives in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.
